Here is a delicious recipe to zing up the humble Brussels sprout using Dulse seaweed, chilli and lemon. Go on try something different this Christmas.
Pre-heat oven to 200C
Toss the Brussels sprouts in olive oil, a wee pinch of salt and pepper.
Spread out on a baking tray.
Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes, stirring pan occasionally.
While the Brussels sprouts are in the oven, chop up some garlic cloves, mix with a little sesame oil, a teaspoon of Dulse and half a teaspoon of chilli. Add this to the Brussels sprouts and put back in the oven for another 5 minutes.
Serve with a squeeze of lemon and lots of finely chopped parsley
