Seaweed loves winter

Our Scottish seaweeds thrive during the winter, in their cold, pure waters. But we're glad at least of a fire to huddle around this season! We'll be warming ourselves before the seaweed harvest begins in January, when we'll collect our precious Pepper Dulse, also known as the 'Truffle of the Sea.'
