Recognising collaborations

We are excited to be going to the Interface Excellence Awards tomorrow night. Held at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, the awards showcase collaborations between businesses and Scottish academia, and highlight the economic, social and innovative impacts arising from such collaborative projects.

Nominated for the S3EED project

We are one of thirteen company projects to be selected. We are up for the Sustainable Partnership Award for our collaboration with Scottish Association for Marine Science and Otter Ferry Fish farm for Project S3EED, our joint venture in developing a commercially viable seaweed cultivation farm.

A high calibre of entries

Dr Siobhán Jordan, Director of Interface, said:

"The entries we received for this year’s awards have been of an extremely high calibre and every finalist should be proud of getting this far. Not only that, but the numbers of entries submitted increased by 20% on last year, which only goes to highlight the interest from the business and academic communities in the awards."
