Proposed Seaweed Farm – Public Consultation

 Mara Seaweed Ltd (Company number SC390829 - Wynd House, Rankeillor St., Elie, Leven, Scotland, KY9 1D) are holding a public Pre-application Consultation period regarding a proposed Marine Licence application for new Algal Farm site, in St. Andrews Bay off Fife east coast. The activity consists of Seaweed Cultivation.

 The map coordinates for the proposed farm are:

 A PAC event was held on the 31^st May 2022 at 17:30 – 19:00 at the Lecture Theatre, Arts Building, St. Andrews University, KY16 9AX. Online access was run at the same time for those who could not attend in person. 

The PAC event gave an overview of Mara's current plans as they stand as of 31/05/22, discussion, charts and an open Q&A session.

All attendees who joined the meeting in person or online can request a copy of the presentation by emailing seaweedfarm@maraseaweed.com.

Representations in respect of the application should be made by email to seaweedfarm@maraseaweed.com and should be received no later than 27th May 2022.

Please note that comments made to these procedures are to the applicant Mara Seaweed Ltd and not to MS-LOT. There will be an opportunity for representations to be made to MS-LOT on the application.
