Mara’s unique blend, a Swiss-army knife seasoning, Shony® is often a gateway to the magical world of seaweed seasonings.
A clever blend of brown, red and green seaweeds, it is used to enhance food where you might normally add salt. With its sweet, grassy and warm tones it is recommended for use on eggs, salads, rice, vegetable and works particularly well as a rub or marinade on fish and poultry.
Kombu Strips Pouch 30g
Dried whole leaf Kelp, increasingly popular as a locally made alternative to imported seaweed from Japan, needed within staple Asian dishes.
The stock cube of the sea, use these strips to infuse umami into soups, stews, stocks and sauces, or to boil pasta or rice for ideal seasoning without the high levels of sodium from salt. Remove before serving.
