Proposed Seaweed Farm – Public Consultation
Due to requests from Stakeholders, Mara have secured an in-person venue for the PAC event.
This will be held on 31st May 2022 at 17:30 – 19:00 at the Lecture Theatre, Arts Building, St. Andrews University, KY16 9AX. Please note that access to and parking for the Arts Building is via The Scores Road.
The online Pre-application Consultation event will be run at the same time at the venue. So now the PAC event is in-person OR on Zoom.
The PAC event will offer discussion, charts and plans for their proposed Seaweed Farm. The public event will include an open Q&A session.

Mara Seaweed Ltd (Company number SC390829 - Wynd House, Rankeillor St., Elie, Leven, Scotland, KY9 1D), plans to hold a public Pre-application Consultation event regarding a proposed Marine Licence application for new Algal Farm site, in St. Andrews Bay off Fife east coast. The activity consists of Seaweed Cultivation.
On Tuesday 31st May 2022 at 17:30 – 19:00 Mara Seaweed Ltd will host an online Pre-application Consultation event offering discussion, charts and plans for their proposed Seaweed Farm. The public event will include an open Q&A session.

Please note that comments made to these procedures are to the applicant Mara Seaweed Ltd and not to MS-LOT. There will be an opportunity for representations to be made to MS-LOT on the application.
